Q: Tell me a little bit about T-Fat’s Autospa and what you do.
A: T-Fat’s Autospa is an automotive luxury detail company, established January 4, 2017. We are obsessed with delivering opulent customer service, excellent quality and displaying Integrity unlike before seen in our industry. We perform all levels of detailing, from the standard hand wash, to high level paint correction (scratch and swirl removal) and also ceramic coating. We show our dedication to our clients by providing convenience at a high level, having an on-site luxury mobile division that travels. Our fleets are 100% self-contained and make appearances at homes and condominiums, businesses, offices, gyms and more. Our goal is to provide affordable excellence, maximum attention to detail, and the peace of mind that each client knows their vehicle or marine investments are protected and cared for.
Q: You work with a lot of high-end cars in your line of work. What is the most impressive or unique car you’ve had the chance to work with in Tampa?
A: I’ve been fortunate enough to work on many exotic cars in Tampa, but I would mention the Ferrari GTC4Lusso as one of my favorite super cars. It’s a two-seater V12 engine, up to 680hp. It’s such a beauty, also known as the Italian Stallion for the demanding presence the car embodies.
Q: Where is your favorite place in town for a night out with the guys?
A: On a night out together, we enjoy mixing it up and trying different places. Franklin Manor is always a go-to for a good time.
What is your favorite bar in town, and what are you ordering?
Too many to choose! Hotel Bar is one of my favorite bars, and you’ll find me with a Don Julio reposado on a big [ice] cube in hand.
Where is your favorite place in town for a special occasion?
I celebrated my 28th birthday at 7th + Grove. It’s a newer place, has a classy urban atmosphere, and the food is excellent. The music selection is great, and I’m looking forward to seeing their growth.
Where do you like to take guests visiting Tampa from out of town?
I enjoy going to Curtis Hixon Park and the Riverwalk. There is a vibrant energy of the city there, which is so cool because family and friends from out of town feel it, and they love it.
Where is your favorite place to eat healthy in town?
Working primarily in Westshore, Fresh Kitchen is my place. Their cucumber lemon ginger fresca drink combined with one of their bowls is always refreshing and settling for a busy lifestyle.
Where’s your favorite place to catch a Buccaneers game in town?
I utterly enjoy watching Sunday football from home. It’s been a tradition for me since I was young. As a family, first service is church, and second service is us gathering to watch football all afternoon. If it were a day out to watch, I enjoy going to Acropolis Greek Taverna on Kennedy Boulevard for away games.
Where is your favorite place for a workout in South Tampa?
My go-to is ASPI. With my background as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, I was fortunate enough to have one of the best trainers in the country: Yo Murphy. Now I can always count on him, and his workouts are amazing.
Where is your favorite place for breakfast or brunch?
Boca is my favorite place to brunch. It has an amazing menu and bottomless mimosas if you’re feeling frisky.
What is your favorite Tampa hidden gem?
I’ve got to show some love to Lemon Grass Thai Kitchen. Everything that comes out of that kitchen is delicious! They have a weekday lunch buffet that is a true gem.
