They are the savory elements that make up a day in the life: breakfast, lunch, dinner and, with luck, dessert. Inspired by the Food Networks’s “Best Thing I Ever Ate,” we asked chefs and restaurateurs from around Tampa’s downtown urban core to define their own cuisines and tell us where they go to get out of the kitchen for each of these meals — because, at the end of the day, food still makes the world go round.
