She currently serves as Assistant Dean for Research at the University of South Florida’s College of Design, Art & Performance, where her work bridges research, design and civic engagement. With a background in architecture, urban design and community engagement, Sabia focuses on issues that directly impact Tampa’s future, including housing, infrastructure and neighborhood development.
She brings people together across sectors, connecting local voices, institutions and decision-makers to foster collaboration and help communities create more livable, resilient cities for future generations.
