Camilo Rios (Rio Cam) captures surreal and empowering visuals with his camera, fusing the idiosyncrasies of haute couture with the steamy supercar posters of the late 20th century.
Between his extensive collaborations, network of celebrities, and credited publications, Rio Cam has become an integral part of shaping the fashion industry in South Florida over the past decade.
His work has allowed brands such as ERES Paris, Off-White, Tag Heuer and dozens more to find their photographic identity.
While celebrating Tampa Magazine’s Women’s Edition earlier this year at Public Studio, Rio Cam’s photography seemed to be all local collectors Travis and Ally Prince could keep their eyes on. His bold and high-definition images produced in various scales on the luxurious texture of alcantara velvet made it difficult to look elsewhere. Inevitably, the art made its way from the gallery to the collectors’ living room wall.
