All the Mornings of the World, 2020
This verdant, richly textured, monochromatic painting by internationally known Mexican artist Bosco Sodi was commissioned by Strategic Property Partners for its Sparkman Wharf office lobby. Sodi explores raw, natural materials and the creative gesture to create large-scale paintings and clay sculptures that engage and envelop the viewer. BÁSICO, a solo exhibition of Sodi’s paintings and sculptures, opens Jan. 14, 2022 at the USF Contemporary Art Museum. Culinaria, a mezcal art dinner with Sodi and Oaxacan chef Saul Carranza, is planned for Feb. 5 at the museum. cam.usf.edu
