San Francisco-based artist Jim Campbell works primarily with LEDs and his artworks are displayed around the world. Three Arcs was installed in 2022 in Water Street Tampa’s Raybon Plaza, developed in partnership with Strategic Property Partners, the City of Tampa and the University of South Florida (USF). The artwork consists of customized LED panels projecting abstract images that slowly transform and organically diffuse. Three Arcs bridges the lush landscaping and geometric architecture of the adjacent buildings, including the Thousand & One office building and USF Health’s Morsani College of Medicine, Taneja College of Pharmacy and Heart Institute.
Margaret Miller is the director of the University of South Florida Contemporary Art Museum, Graphicstudio and Public Art.
