Things To Do the First Week of November

Make the most out of the new month with these special events.

Fall is in the air, so why not go outside and breathe in the holiday season? Kick off November with a week packed with activities, such as Lightning games and concerts in the park.

November 2
Garden Bros Circus
4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Buy your tickets to a European-style circus featuring over 60 performers from 18 different countries. Elephants, acrobats, contortionists and more acts are sure to wow the crowd.

November 3
Wanderlust 108
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Grab some coffee and then head to the main stage for a pre-run stretch before taking off on a 5k. After the run, relax with some yoga and meditation.

Marketplace and Plant Sale
8 a.m.
The Sunset Park Garden Club is holding its annual sale. Find household treasures, plants and other goodies at the Garden Clubhouse starting at 8 a.m.

Tampa Bay Veg Fest
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
About 100 veg-friendly vendors will be exhibiting at the festival. There will also be yoga classes, cooking demonstrations and plenty of vegan food to enjoy.

37th Annual Mustang, Shelby & Ford Roundup
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Hosted by the Mustang Club of Florida, this car show will feature over 150 models of Mustangs, Shelbys and Ford vehicles. People can view the cars or enter their own, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Big Brothers Big Sisters Tampa and Special Olympics.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s
9 a.m.
Participants will walk three miles along the riverfront to raise funds and awareness of Alzheimer’s.

The Bandito Tour comes to Tampa.

November 4
Conga Caliente
11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Conga Caliente is Tampa’s celebration of Hispanic arts and culture. Guests can see performances, conga players and many artistic displays in Al Lopez Park. They can enjoy traditional ethnic foods and learn about the hispanic culture.

Straz Live! In the Park
2-6 p.m.
Tampa Opera Singers will be performing in Curtis Hixon Park, with a finale of Hamiltunes by Tampa native Jose Rosario Jr. The sounds of broadway songs and opera arias will fill the air, creating a perfect atmosphere for a picnic at the park.

November 6
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Edmonton Oilers
7:30 p.m.
