A much-loved St. Pete adult playground has made its way to this side of the bay. Park & Rec has officially opened in the Channel District, and they’re offering all your childhood favorites with an adult kick. The concept combines a full kitchen, four full-service bars, retro arcade games, an outside patio, VIP booths and a dance floor, all put into a two-story Instagram hot spot. Park & Rec also offers more hands-on games like giant beer pong, giant Connect-Four, pinball, air hockey and giant Jenga on the outdoor deck. All the fun and games are sure to make you break a sweat and build up an appetite, and the menu is full of childhood-inspired favorites built to satisfy your grownup-sized hunger. Diners can enjoy snacks like nachos, jalapeño poppers and corndogs, plus pizzas, and sandwiches (like the Glazed and Confused — a burger or Cap’n Crunch-coated fried chicken breast served on a glazed donut). Specialty cocktails include the Capri Sun-like party pouches and adult slurpees. Park & Rec welcomes four-legged friends in the outside areas, but after 8 p.m. it’s strictly for those 21 and up to enjoy.
