The hospitality company Palisociety has officially opened Palihouse Hyde Park, Hyde Park’s first hotel. The 36-guest-room hideaway also features a second level for The Lobby Bar, a café and bar offering guests an all-day dining and drinks menu, classic cocktails, beer and wine.

OpenTable released its list of “Top 100 restaurants in America for 2023,” and Bern’s Steak House and Lilac made the cut alongside a total of just seven Florida restaurants. The winners were determined using over 12 million verified diner reviews paired with dining metrics including diner ratings, percentage of reservations made in advance and five-star reviews.
Riverview Ranked Among The Fastest Growing Cities In America
SmartAsset, a financial tech company, released a list of the fastest-growing cities in the United States with populations over 100,000. Riverview came in at number seven with 26% growth based on the U.S. Census data collected from 2017 – 2022. Tampa was number 137 with only a 3% increase in that time frame.
Canadian Golf Developer To Build First Project In America In Brooksville
The Cabot Collection, a Canadian golf development company with courses from Scotland to St. Lucia is planning to make their inaugural debut in America at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville. The proposed plans include a new clubhouse, luxury accommodations, dining venues and shopping areas as well as two 18-hole courses and a 10- and 11-hole short course.
Tampa General Hospital Expansion To Begin In 2024
In 2024, Tampa General Hospital is poised to embark on a groundbreaking initiative with the construction of a 13-story expansion. This development will house the TGH Surgical, Neuroscience, and Transplant Pavilion on Davis Islands. Encompassing an impressive 565,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art medical facility is designed to accommodate 144 patient beds, 32 operating suites and a significant augmentation in intensive care unit (ICU) capacity.
TPA Named One Of The Best Airports In America
The Wall Street Journal ranked 50 of the busiest airports in the country in “The Best and Worst U.S. Airports of 2023,” and Tampa International Airport (TPA) was named one of the top 10 midsize airports in the country. In J.D. Power’s list released the end of September, TPA took the number 1 spot for the second year in a row in the large airport category.
