New Eateries Join Tampa’s Dining Scene
Eleven80 Café, a Latin-inspired café named for the founders’ hometown of Chicago—1,180 miles from Tampa—has opened on Dale Mabry. The menu features Cuban-style sandwiches and empanadas. Con Amor, which specializes in transforming raw corn into fresh masa for homemade tortillas, has debuted on the ground floor of Avenue Lofts. J’s Asian Kitchen has opened in Seminole Heights on Florida Avenue and serves ramen, pho and other soup and noodle dishes.

Urban Flower Farm Blooms in St. Pete
Padme Flower Farm, a 1-acre urban flower farm, has opened in St. Pete’s Warehouse Arts District. Snapdragons, ranunculus, anemones, phlox and ageratum are grown by hand without harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. In addition to u-pick events, bouquets and potted plants, future plans include expanding into local markets and launching a weekly flower subscription service.

New Soccer Training Complex Opens on Memorial Highway
The year-round soccer and futsal training facility Tampa Training Ground offers elite coaching, top-tier facilities and innovative programming for players of all levels. The indoor and outdoor complex, launched by a couple who are former D-1 athletes, has opened on Memorial Highway.

Paloma House Creates Hub for Women’s Wellness
Paloma House, a three-building complex on nearly two acres at 10787 Oak St. NE, offers social events, fitness classes and support groups for women. The space also hosts businesses focused on women’s wellness, including two mental health therapists, a speech-language pathologist and a mobile pediatric company. Events and classes are open to the public, with optional social memberships offering discounts. A coffee shop, Bean Wandering, is located in the property’s backyard.
