At an early age, Dr. Jasmina Bajric knew she wanted to do something positive to help people, and becoming a doctor was the right fit. She credits part of this decision to the devastation she witnessed as a child in the war-torn country of the former Yugoslavia. Settling in Canada at the age of 10, she committed herself to achieving this goal by becoming a top student and athlete in high school and college.
While in medical school, Dr. Bajric’s innate desire to help solve complex problems, and her natural surgical ability, led her to specialize in the extremely focused subspecialty of oculoplastic surgery. This field gives her a unique understanding of the eye and the periocular area. Her skillset enables her to perform plastic surgery of the face and eye area, from the common brow lift to complex orbital cases. In addition, Dr. Bajric has a keen eye and a delicate approach in her cosmetic practice. What sets Dr. Bajric apart is her ability to listen to the patient to guide the next steps forward. The combination of her training and connection with her patients allows her to provide the highest quality of care. Dr. Bajric serves as an Assistant Professor and the Head of Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery at the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital.
