Bethany Montecalvo recently joined Skin Savvy Rx in South Tampa and specializes in regenerative and advanced anti-aging treatments. She is a licensed Medical Aesthetician in multiple states, a Union Makeup Artist to many celebrities, and is certified as a Health Coach/Personal Trainer and Wellness expert. Bethany has trained under a renowned Cidesco European Skin Center, attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, and been a union makeup artist for 798 IASTE in NYC since 2014.
Bethany has worked for HBO, Showtime, Netflix, NFL, NHL, ABC, and other TV and film studios. Throughout her journey, she was able to work with several celebrities doing makeup and organic spray tanning. In her home state of Pennsylvania, she worked with plastic surgeons doing cutting-edge anti-aging treatments like Plasma Pen and became a guest speaker sharing her beauty tips and tricks.
Her passion for aesthetics comes from struggling with cystic acne throughout her earlier years. She was motivated to pursue health and wellness because of seeing the effects of eating processed foods on her skin firsthand during that time. Cystic acne left her with severe scars, and that drove her to pursue a career in aesthetics to help others facing similar struggles. Bethany specializes in skin renewal with Plasma Pen, a non-invasive skin-lifting, skin tightening, resurfacing and regenerative treatment that is FDA approved and has little down time compared to other more invasive anti-aging procedures.
In addition to her extensive work in the television and film industry, Bethany also educates and empowers women through wellness and beauty. She combines her knowledge of the art of makeup with a deep understanding of how the reflection of our self can improve self-esteem, renew confidence and change lives.
