Tea is a big deal in our household. It’s offered and served to every guest who walks through our doors. But some days, it’s nice when someone else makes it. Which is why we’ve been going to this little gem for about 10 years.
With great food to boot and staff who know their tea, it’s hard not to love.
Kaleisia Tea Lounge, located on Fletcher Avenue in a plaza full of other hidden gems, will celebrate 21 years this August. Although known for their tea, they also offer a delicious Vietnamese-inspired menu—my current favorite is the House Rice Bowl with Spicy Lemongrass Chicken. Don’t eat chicken? Their vegan options like their Lemongrass Tofu are just as amazing!
While their summer drink menu is my absolute favorite, the Tropical Sunset (a year long option) is popular for good reason. This layered tea features bright, tart hibiscus paired with their sweet Mango Splash fruit tea, making it insanely refreshing on a hot Florida day.
Even if you don’t normally like tea, you just might find something on their wall of teas.
