HDTVs, beer pong tourneys and local celebrities: There are plenty of spots to catch a Lightning game as they gear up to face the Columbus Blue Jackets during round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

 

Round 1, Game 2
Friday, April 12 | Puck drop 7 p.m.
Ford Thunder Alley

In front of Amalie Arena, partying at the Ford Thunder Alley grants you $5 beers, $8 liquor drinks and plenty of live entertainment before game time.

 

Round 1, Game 3
Sunday, April 14 | Puck drop 7 p.m.
North Straub Park | 400 Bayshore Dr NE, St. Petersburg

Be sure to head there an hour before puck drop to catch beer specials, item giveaways and live music.

 

Round 1, Game 4
Tuesday, April 16 | Puck drop 7 p.m.
Sparkman Wharf | 615 Channelside Dr, Tampa, FL 33602

Located within Sparkman Wharf’s outdoor waterfront space, Game 4’s official watch party spot has live music, beer specials and giveaways to attendees as well.

 

Round 1, Game 5
Friday, April 19 | Puck drop TBA
Ford Thunder Alley

If the series continues to game 5 ead back to Ford Thunder Alley one last time to soak up the $5 beers and $8 liquor drinks as the Lightning push their way further into the playoffs.

 

Hattricks

One of, if not the, most iconic spot in town to catch a Lightning game (besides Amalie Arena itself), Hattricks features traditional pub fare such as wings and shrimp, but also a wide variety of craft and local beer.

 

Ducky’s Sports Lounge
1719 W. Kennedy Blvd.

For the entirety of the Lightning’s time in the NHL Playoffs, Ducky’s Sports Lounge is offering up a $20 bucket deal of Bud Light and wings. Other menu items include the usual bar fare such as pizza and burgers.

 

North 30th Sports Pub & Grille
11402 N. 30th St.

Over 60 HDTVs means there’s not a bad seat in the house. The menu consists of wings, pizza and seafood dishes, while offering up a full bar with craft beers.

 

MacDinton’s Irish Pub
405 S. Howard Ave.

With beer pong tourneys and happy hour specials, MacDinton’s Irish Pub is a great spot to settle down for the Lightning schedule ahead. Typical bar fair is served such as boneless wings and tenders, as well as quesadillas and burgers.

 

Press Box Sports Emporium
222 S. Dale Mabry Highway

Featuring 38 screens over a matrix wall, the wide range of different specials such as 75 cent boneless wings on Wednesdays and $2.25 domestic draft pints all days of the week equal the perfect spot to settle down for the games.
