Francesca de la Grana, a steadfast advocate for the people, is a second-generation criminal defense attorney. Her office in Ybor City houses the largest collection of Theo Wujcik paintings in existence. Wujcik (1936–2014), a local icon, has works in the Tampa Museum of Art’s permanent collection and De la Grana’s father, Frank, formed a genuine friendship with the artist in the 1980s. Today, Francesca proudly safeguards the collection, and her personal favorite is this piece titled “Dante”—a massive 11-foot by 8-foot acrylic on canvas masterpiece inspired by Dante’s “Inferno,” part of a decade-long series by Wujcik.
